Bred for public transportation and fleet management tracking systems, the fanless IVS-110 is designed for harsh environments and incorporates specialized I/O ports to connect with multiple in-vehicle peripheral devices for a myriad of applications. The wide range VDC input helps prevent electrical surges on start-up.
At a mere 2.4 inches in height and equipped with robust shock/vibration/IP4X qualifications, the IVS-110 can be mounted in a variety of confined spaces in harsh environments. Small, quiet and versatile, with rich communication oriented I/O, the IVS-110 is an ideal choice for vehicle fleet management and public transportation including video surveillance and on-board payment. The IVS-110 is equipped with dual SIM slots, useful when transmitting data. Vehicle position can be monitored via the GPS interface. The OBD-II/J1939 interface streamlines vehicle data and diagnostic collection. Mini PCIe GbE expansion cards can also be added through the E-Window interface.
Powered by a long life cycle quad core Intel® Atom™ Apollo Lake x7-E3950 industrial Processor, the low 12W TDP and fanless thermal design contribute to the rigorous -30°C – 70°C operating temperature range of the IVS-110. This temperature response coupled with conformance to IEC60068-2-27 shock, MILSTD-810G 514.5 vibration and IP4X standards ensure that the IVS-110 can handle a harsh in-vehicle environment. The wide 9 – 36 VDC input voltage range helps prevent electrical surges on start-up and accommodates a multitude of vehicle voltage-bus designs, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter in many applications. Data storage is addressed through a 1x 2.5 inch SATA 6Gb/s HDD/SSD drive bay, 1x mSATA (Mini PCIe Slot), and a 1x eMMC 5.0. The ample supply of communication technologies include GPS and optional WLAN, Bluetooth and WWAN.
Perfectly positioned & flawlessly executed, the IVS-110 I/O even addresses some of the more subtle requirements for in-vehicle computers with interfaces such as OBD-II/J1939 and on-board GPS. 1x 16-bit digital I/O (8-bit input / 8-bit output) DIO complements the expandable 1x PCIe GbE Intel® I211. 1x RS232/422/485 COM port and optional WLAN by Mini PCIe Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WWAN by PCIe Mini WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA and Bluetooth by BT 4.0/3.0+HS (combo with WLAN). 4x USB 3.0 ports and VGA @Up to 1920 x 1200, 60 Hz and HDMI @Up to 3840 x 2160, 30 Hz.
